I am an analytical chemist by profession, specialising in separation science. I possess academic and non-academic, as well as analytical and technical skills. For my journey in academia so far, please check my theses and the list of my publications.

Welcome to my website. I plan to share with you adventures with no end. I will take you to places you have never been and bring you stories you have never heard. Let me start with the tiny nation-state called Eritrea (aka: the North Korea of Africa)? If you never heard of this nation; no worries, I have the perfect depiction of the state and condition of the country and its people, in the book presented to the public: The Lawless Nation.

The Lawless Nation has reflected the actual livelihood of Eritreans since 1991. The book has received admiration and positive feedback from readers for its accuracy, honesty, boldness, and overall content. It is also available in the Tigrinya language (ሕጊ ኣልቦ ሃገር).

Remorseless Cruelty provides a true account of war crimes. It illustrates the ugly side of humans and how far power-hungry and cruel individuals are willing to go to maintain their power so that they keep on oppressing the masses and milking resources.

Another story worth reading is now on the air. Living In Shadows is a memoir and is a must-read. The story is so touching that you won’t believe such things do happen in the 21st century, in the modern age.

This book is for everyone. It’s about endurance, determination, and perseverance. A decent and proud citizen overwhelmed by subsequent troubles. His life’s trajectory is filled with tragedies and triumphs, from a soldier defending his country to an aspirational student, then to a street vendor, finding his way back to normal life and serving communities, only to be plunged into worse circumstances. It is like rising from the ashes and going back to the ashes to start all over again, a never-ending cycle, tested through thick and thin. Over the years, no matter how frustrating and depressing his path became, he never gave up. If you have similar obstacles to face, reading the book will undoubtedly, inspire you to keep on living even when living is hell.

እንቋዕ ብደሓን መጻእኩም!
